Join the growing L30 class with boat #15.
The L30 class is the brainchild of Radion Luka, a Silver Olympic medalist, World/ European Champion, and Volvo Ocean Race competitor. His success on the water inspired Luka to design a new class of racing yacht. Backed by a lifetime of experience, the L30 brings together the ethos of an offshore racing machine with unparalleled comfort and useability.
Luka joined up together with Andrej Justin, designer of RC44 to make an outstanding boat that combines good all-round offshore performance, easy logistics, strict one-design and is affordable for a wide range of sailors all around the World.
The boat has been tested since November 2015. It was developed perfectly in all details. The speed record of 24.7 knots was achieved in rough sea conditions in 34 knots TWS. The boat performs exceptionally in light wind as well showing 2.8 knots boat speed in 1.9 knots TWS.
The boat is equipped with Trim Tab that adds more performance to sailing upwind and facilitates downwind sailing in a strong breeze. Two lifting rudders give safety in survival conditions and decline the resistance of the foil in light wind.
