Loved by both sets of owners, Richochet is truly a turnkey solution, and really needs nothing. As soon as you step on board, you become aware of all of the surfaces that are unblemished, and it’s very evident that the boat has been loved and looked after. Engine room is clean enough to eat out of! Immaculate!!
Entering from the aft deck through large dual sliding doors, the spacious and bright salon provides ample area for lounging, and the surround sound system will keep you and your guests entertained. To stbd and forward in the salon, there is an icemaker, and a large liquor cabinet. The new sleeper sofa to stbd allows for a berth for two more guests should the need arise. Two wrought iron barstools at the galley counter provide a great place to eat and converse with the chef of the hour. The galley is large, has ample storage space for extended cruising, and has a large built in fridge/freezer to provide enough cold storage. The three plate stove top and convection microwave provide enough of a platform to prepare family sized meals easily, with enough counter top space to prep too.Â
On the way forward to the pilothouse, the AC/DC panel is to your stbd side, and gives control over most of the ships systems from that panel. Volt meters and amp meters are included too. In the same location in the Outback Inverter Remote Control Panel. Up into the pilothouse, there is a large dinette to port, with a Corian table to provide ample seating for guests accompanying the captain while under way. Under the seating is more large volume storage, with a storage bin forward of the seating for binoculars etc. The helm seat is very comfortable, and the helm offers easy vessel control with all the necessary elements, including windlass controls. The pilothouse windows are large, and provide an excellent view for the helmsman while under way, or docking from inside. There is a set of stairs leading from the pilothouse to the flybridge, that are wide, that are easy to get up due to width of steps, and a solid handrail on the left side of the stairs.
Once on the flybridge, you find the upper helm with full controls to run the boat from, windlass control included. New in 2017, the Garmin GPS map 7610 XSV and the Standard Horizon VHF radio. At the helm is a large bench seat for two, and to stbd, another single chair for a guest. Bench seating around both sides of the flybridge, allow for a large volume of guests, and make this a comfortable gathering area. The new in 2016 custom hardtop with LED lighting and Strataglass enclosure (total $70k) provides solid coverage from rain, sun, and any other weather the PNW can throw at you while underway, at anchor or at the dock. On the aft end of the upper deck, there is access to the dinghy (12′ Avon w/40hp Yamaha and full cover) and a Brower 1000lb davit. Easy to launch and retrieve, this will make your boating life easier! All covered by full canvas covers.Â
Down the stairs next to the pilothouse, and you are in the accommodation. Turn aft and you are in the large volume master stateroom with full walkaround queen berth, very big his/hers hanging lockers (all interior lockers are cedar lined), ensuite head and full stall shower with Corian counter tops, and a Vacuflush head. Plenty of storage in the head, and large mirrors. There is also a GE Spacemaker washer and dryer (separate units) located in the aft bulkhead of the master for easy access.Â
Forward, and you are in the VIP berth, with large island queen berth, and ensuite head and full shower stall. Basically the same arrangement as the master head, just a tad smaller. But all very comfortable living arrangements.
Back onto the aft deck/cockpit, and you can access the lazarette with extremely easy access to the steering gear and fuel tanks, then forward into the engine room. Kohler genset is to stbd, and house batteries are to port, with both aft of main engines. Mains are low hour Volvo Penta TAMD 63’s with port at 805hrs, and stbd at 795hrs. Outback inverter, thruster battery bank, and Raritan hot water heater are all forward of the stbd engine. There is a small access to master stateroom in the forward engine room bulkhead. Outboard of the port engine, it the hydraulic steering plumbing with reservoirs, and the autopilot hydraulic pump.Â
This boat will not last, it is in immaculate condition, and owners are finally ready to move on. Don’t miss out on an excellent 4800 Classic! Call the listing broker today to schedule your viewing of your next boat! Boat is in a locked marina.
