IF YOU’RE IN THE MARKET FOR A DIESEL POWERED, COMMAND BRIDGE TYPE VESSEL, THIS IS YOUR BOAT!!! MOSEY CAT, A 1996 BAYLINER 3388 HAS BEEN BABIED, AND HAS ONLY HAD TWO OWNERS!! SHE HAS BEEN IN FRESHWATER AND UNDERCOVER SINCE 2004, AND IT SHOWS! LOW HOURS (1530hrs) ON TWIN CUMMINS 155HP MOTORS PROFESSIONALLY MAINTAINED. ALSO HAS A BOW THRUSTER. PERFECT BOAT FOR MANY BOATING SEASONS TO COME!!Â
Yes, this is one of those boats, where you hear people saying, "you want to buy a boat from that guy" because the owner is one of those people who looks after their things. Always professionally maintained, and kept under cover, you can see the pride of ownership. Everything looks new!Â
Once aboard, there is an aft deck with ample space to be enjoying your bacon, eggs and mimosas on anchor and watching the sun come up. Up the ladder to the flybridge and you’re in the perfect place to run the boat, with the helm station giving you a birds eye view. The near mint condition FULL canvas gives awesome protection from the elements both on the flybridge and the aft deck.
There is a 2005 Zodiac YL310 RIB, with a 2002 Nissan 9.8 two stroke w/ 3.1 gallon fuel tank that mounts to the Weaver Dinghy System on the swim platform. It has a keel guard for beaching, and Nauticus Sport Tab stainless trim tabs for added performance.Â
Into the salon, and immediately to port, there is the entrance into the aft stateroom, with a king size berth for added comfort. The salon has a large dinette, and there is a lower helm for those captains who prefer to run their boat from inside. Forward and down, you have a well equipped galley to prepare the meals that help create the cruising memories.Â
Forward of the galley, there is a good size v-berth, with a good sized head and separate enclosed shower stall. Everything is set up well for extended stays on the water. There is an Ardic 091-DM hot water, forced air diesel heater that is 16000 BTU and heats the boat capably. It also provides hot water for showering etc.Â
There is a Trace 2500W inverter with remote panel, and a bank of 6vdc Trojan batteries to power it, and upgraded 4/0 battery cable with switching and fusing to make it a safe system onboard. Batteries are charged from engine alternators while underway.Â
Bottom was painted, all anodes replaced and shaft seals serviced September of 2013. Due to health issues the boat has operated less than 70 hours since that time, but it has always been run and maintained in that time.
Boat and dinghy are both registered in the state of Oregon. Both have current stickers through the
year 2017.Â
