You all know the pedigree of locally built and loved Tollycrafts! Now come see BryLynn! From the moment you step aboard Brylynn, you will realize that she has not been abused in her life, and is ready for her next (second) owner to get her back to being a PNW cruising yacht again!Â
The exterior gelcoat shows barely any blemishes, and shines like new. All new canvas on flybridge and aft deck is an excellent addition for those cooler, breezier days and nights, to be able to relax on the large aft deck, while entertaining friends and family. There is easy access down each side deck through canvas doors, and up to the spacious foredeck for getting to the anchor, or lounging in the sun.Â
The flybridge helm station just had the steering pump replaced, and a new Raymarine stand alone depth finder installed. While underway or maneuvering, you have excellent 360 vision from the flybridge, and the boat responds well to the Mathers Microcommander Electronic Engine Controls. On top of the factory hardtop, the dinghy is comfortably stored out of the way by means of a reliable davit, and allows the swim platform, to be used as it was meant, without a dinghy blocking access, or making it hard to board the boat. The aft cockpit works well for relaxing in deck chairs watching the world passing by, or for working lines while docking. If you are a fishing family, it make for a large, easy to use fishing cockpit.Â
From the large aft deck, one enters the salon down a few steps. Brylynn’s salon is large, open and very light from the huge salon and forward windows. To the stbd side is a L-shape settee which converts into a sleeper sofa, and forward to stbd is the lower helm station. If maneuvering from the lower helm, there is a great sliding door immediately to stbd of the lower helm, whereby you can look all the way up and down the stbd side of the boat while docking. The salon is all teak, and is continued down into the galley and dinette (which converts to a berth). The galley looks like it’s never been used, and when looking at the stovetop, it looks new. There is a central vac system located in the area of the dinette, which services the entire vessel. An Espar diesel furnace control is located at the lower helm.dinette area to control heating to the vessel while underway. Cadet heaters are located throughout the vessel and can be run at the dock, or whilst on anchor by means of the 12KW Kohler genset with 470hrs.Â
Up forward, the VIP stateroom/V-berth has an ensuite head and shower, which is also used as the day head. Both staterooms have white veneers, so as to make them lighter, rather than darker by using wood veneers. There is plenty of storage in both of the staterooms. Aft to the master, and it is spacious with an island queen berth, plenty of storage, a large vanity to port, and an ensuite head and shower to stbd.Â
Entering the engine room, by means of the galley stairs which lift to reveal access, or lifting one of the large salon sole hatches, you will see an engine space that mostly looks new. This is due to the fact that the owner put very few hours on the boat, rather doing small jaunts around the river instead of running north each year. The Detroit 8.2’s only have 356 original hours on them, and gleam like they just came off the factory floor. Diesel Service West completely went through the engines from top to bottom, replaced heat exchangers per the factory requirements with upgraded heat exchangers ( trans oil coolers too), the turbos were removed, cleaned, and inspected, and a long list of other service/maintenance items taken care of. The owner/operator of Diesel Service West is happy to talk to whoever is interested in the vessel, about what he thinks of those engines. A seatrial was run after the service, and the engines performed flawlessly, with the boat reaching 20 knots at WOT, and a very comfortable cruise at 14/15 knots. Brylynn is a dream to run. The Kohler generator was also serviced, and is in excellent running condition.Â
Â
BRYLYNN is a great example of a 44 Tollycraft, and needs to be seen to be appreciated. New owner will need to upgrade electronics, and fridge. Recent survey valued @ $165K. Call the listing broker to schedule your viewing today.Â
