Rick has been a waterman since the age of 11.  He grew up surfing all over Southern California and Baja then moved to Hawaii at age 17.  His first job on the Big Island was working as a deckhand for a local fisherman out of Pohoiki bay just south of Hilo.  Later that year, he was first exposed to sailing on Hobie-cat 16’s off Waikiki beach.  Rick is the consummate professional having spent a career as an executive in luxury golf & country clubs. Today his passion for yachting is only surpassed by his zest for exploring a modern lifestyle on the water.  He enjoys travel, surfing and fishing in tropical waters and maintains a lifelong connection with the ocean.  Today, he splits his time between San Diego, the Bahamas and Honolulu.
