Mac was born in Busan, South Korea. Busan is an oceanside province adjacent to the Sea where many ferries and yachts come in and out from Japan. As he grew up in Busan, so did his love of the sea. In 1997, he graduated from the Korean Maritime University, and soon moved to Florida, in the United States. He fell in love with the tropical beaches there and decided to attend the University of Florida, where he graduated with an accounting degree in 2001. In 2008, Mac started his own CPA practice, even going so far as to name it Pacific Ocean CPA Firm. After over 20 years of tax and accounting, he decided to do something that he didn’t need a vacation from and moved to Seattle, drawn by the exquisite Pacific. His love of the ocean and watercraft leads him to take his family on various trips to local islands like San Juan Island and Orcas Island via ferry. Mac’s goal is to become a yacht expert and work doing something he loves to find something that his client will love just as much.
