Luke Severson
Born and raised in Sonoma county, Luke grew up sailing and fishing in the San Francisco bay along with wakeboarding and surfing throughout Northern California.
During the pandemic, Luke stumbled upon a free boat and that is where his journey began. He started a boat restoration business as a side hustle where he specialized in complete restorations. From rewiring and outboard repowering, to fiberglass repairs and custom parts, Luke did it all. Primarily working with Boston Whalers, he grew to understand what a great boat is, and what separates the good from the bad.
After attending Point Loma Nazarene University for college, he went straight into working as an EMT. Working for a wound care team under a surgeon, Luke got the rare opportunity to gain immense knowledge of the medical field but felt he was slowly being pulled back to the ocean as his boating business started to flourish.
His love of restoring boats and bringing back their beauty was just the beginning. He realized the part of the journey he loved the most was showing the buyer a beautiful boat and seeing how absolutely thrilled it made them. Fast forward a few years and after countless boats restored and refinished, he was ready to dive head first. He is excited to be partnering with WS Yacht Brokers to share his love for the ocean and help others on their boating journey.
