Having been born in Vancouver, Washington, our family was close to the Columbia River and spent almost every weekend on it. My father had a great love for the water—fishing, hunting, and recreational boating. Through pleasure boating, my dad figured he would include his family and enjoy the things he loved.

In the late fifties, our family was a charter member of what is known as NOTS (formerly NW Outboard Trailer Sailers). We enjoyed many of their outings, in addition to having a number of core boating families that we spent a great deal of time with on the water. This included many trips to Canada, all on offshore runabouts.

As our family grew, so did our boats. They grew into small cruisers, which typically navigated the Willamette and Columbia Rivers.

After college, my work focused on industrial sales. For over 40 years, I was involved in calling on various industrial sites, designing and selling systems for production. My focus was to problem-solve with our customers to increase their production efficiencies.

Through my most recent experiences as a member of Tyee Yacht Club and the Pacific NW Tollycrafters, I decided I could help others create their dreams of boat ownership, or possibly help others find another boat that might suit their current needs.
